ZipCam Supports a Variety of HD & SD Video Camcorders

ZipCam technology is an excellent choice for feature films and commercials being shot in HD and SD video. With the introduction of ZipHead in early 2010, ZipCam systems will support these video formats.

ZipCam Systems will introduce ZipHead in the 1st Quarter of 2010. ZipHeadSM weighs less than10 lbs, mounts to any standard mitchell plate, accommodate a payload of up to 30 lbs, and provides wireless pan & tilt functionality. Power for the ZipHead, camera and accessories can be provided from the ZipCam, a 24v power source, or from the ZipPack (a dual v-lock power pack that mounts between the ZipHead and its support - coming later in 2010).

ZipHead will accommodate a variety of High Definition cameras. This will include support for various HD camcorders and HD camera systems whose total weight does not exceed 30 lbs (camera, lens, media & accessories).

Because Standard Definition video continues to to be a viable option for a variety of productions, ZipCam's soon-to-be-released ZipHead will also accommodate many SD camera packages, if total package payload does not exceed 30 pounds (camera, lens, media & accessories).
