ZipCam Support for Digital Cine Camera Systems
ZipCam technology is a perfect match for feature films and commercials being shot with digital 2K and 4K cameras. With the introduction of ZipHead in early 2010, ZipCam will support these exciting digital cine acquisition formats.

ZipCam Systems will introduce ZipHead in the 1st Quarter of 2010. ZipHeadSM weighs less than10 lbs, mounts to any standard mitchell plate, accommodate a payload of up to 30 lbs, and provides wireless pan & tilt functionality. Power for the ZipHead, camera and accessories can be provided from the ZipCam, a 24v power source, or from the ZipPack (a dual v-lock power pack that mounts between the ZipHead and its support - coming later in 2010).
The Red One Camera System
ZipHead will enable ZipCam systems to accommodate a variety of digital 2k and 4k cameras. The first on our list for compatability with the ZipHead will be the Red One. The camera's modular nature, compact size, and lightweight design - coupled with its popularity - make it
a great candidate for the ZipHead. And ZipHead will be a good match for several other cameras from manufacturers such as Dalsa, Panavision, and Arri.
